Menton

The most "Italian" of the Riviera towns, Menton is best discovered on foot.

Start at the Place du Marché, easily recognized by its old covered market, and wind your way through the pedestrian area around rue Saint Michel and Place aux Herbes. Rue Longue takes you up to the church of Saint Michel and if luxury stores tempt you, you won't want to miss rue Felix Faure and rue de Verdun.
