10 advice for your security

Here, as in many other areas, you need to respect some elementary security rules in order to enjoy your stay.

In your car...

• Do not leave anything visible (objects, clothes), even when driving.

• In town, think of locking your doors.

• Do not leave any bag or any object on the seats or in your lap.

• When you stop at traffic-lights or when you are caught in a trafic jam, be careful of scooters.

• When you park your car, check that it is locked, the alarm is on , the steering-wheel is blocked, the car radio is removed. Do not leave any valuables in the boot.

In public places  (station, airport, streets, beach)...

• Avoid of carying your bag across your shoulder and avoid of walking too close to the pavement.

• Do not carry big amount of money, traveller's cheques or jewellery. Leave them in the hotel safe box.

• When you use your credit card , make sure of hiding from other people while keying your pin code. Be careful when you take out your money at a cash dispenser. Do not leave or throw away your receipt.

• Do not leave your mobile phone or bag available to anybody.

• On the beach do not leave your things unattended.

   !  Think of keeping a copy of your ID card or passeport in a  safe place. If you are a victim : you can lodge a complaint to any police station or state police station.
